Dear Community Neighbors,
Oregon Trail Academy’s 7th Annual Spring Auction will be held on Saturday April 14th, 2018
at The Resort at the Mountain in Welches. Our event will feature silent and live auctions,
raffle items and more. We are requesting donations such as auction items, gift certificates,
services or cash donations. Oregon Trail Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit so all donations
to our school are tax deductible. You may make your donation online by visiting our
auction website at oregontrailschools.ejoinme.org/auction, by mail, drop it off to the school,
or let us know if you would like a parent to pick it up.
Oregon Trail Academy is an International Baccalaureate Continuum World School in the
Oregon Trail School District offering Mandarin instruction to all students K-12. We have
approximately 260 students in grades K-11 and next year we will complete our growth into
a full K-12 program. Our students come from the Sandy area as well as Welches, Estacada,
Gresham, Happy Valley, Oregon City and other surrounding communities. We are proud to
be an officially authorized IB World School with all three programs, PYP, MYP and DP. Most
exciting, we are the only in situ (single campus) K-12 IB school in the Northwest!
Unlike traditional public schools, Oregon Trail Academy relies heavily on fundraising to
supplement our every day operating costs. Money raised is placed in the school’s general
fund to support teacher’s salaries, classroom and library expansion, technology that is used
daily in every classroom and all of the pieces that go into making Oregon Trail Academy a
place where our students can receive a world-class education right here in Boring, Oregon.
Thank you for helping us reach our goals and know that your contribution will be greatly
appreciated by all the kids at Oregon Trail Academy.
